National WeMEN Campaign

WeMEN Campaign In Support of Gender Equality” will focus on contemporary gender issues affecting a large segment of the female population. Envisioned in building a better world for under-privileged women and girls by implementing the Sustainable Development Goals ‘WeMEN’, is a campaign that works on three aspects of women empowerment -equal rights, education and health. It also aims at quick and immediate response to situations of violent crime against women by providing speedy intervention-aid and follow up aid to heal and rebuild the community. Inequality especially in the India by emphasizing the special role and partnership of young boys and men, both in urban and rural India. It would be a pleasure for us to welcome you to this promising event.

It was a historic and memorable moment for POWER Foundation when its National ‘WeMEN’ Campaign (in support of Gender Equality) with support of ‘HeForShe’, in collaboration with Department of WECD, Uttarakhand and SIIDCUL was launched in Dehradun at the AUDITORIUM – CM House by Shri Harish Rawat, the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and a leader who has always stood up for the rights of women.
